You never know who's going to stop by the office at Campfire Shores! 🦋🌿 This time of year, we're greeted by some pretty incredible moths right outside our door, and we couldn't resist sharing a few of our favorites. Their unique colors, patterns, and sizes are a reminder of just how amazing the natural world really is. One of the things we love most about being here is getting to experience moments like these every day. Every campsite has a story, and this one is pretty incredible. 🚴🌎 We had the pleasure of welcoming a traveler who is biking across the country from Seattle to Traverse City via the northern tier and north lakes bike route, and then onto Pittsburgh! He told us he’s motivated by meeting and connecting with people like us along the way 😊, hearing their stories, and seeing the gorgeous views. Us too! It takes determination, resilience, and a true sense of adventure to take on a journey like this, and we're honored that Campfire Shores could be a small stop along the way. Campfire Shores officially opened in 2025, welcoming guests to our quaint campground, its brand-new bathhouse, miles of scenic hiking trails, and ATV-friendly accommodations. In early 2026, we’ll be unveiling our larger pavilion and outdoor bar—perfect for private celebrations and the heart of our upcoming public events.
